Retreat Registration Information

How to Register for a Residential Retreat

All of our retreats are available for online registration. We no longer have downloadable forms at this time.

Registration opens approximately 4 months before the retreat begins (or 5 months before, for "application" retreats). For longer retreats of 4-8 weeks, applications open 6 months prior to the start of the retreat. The open date is listed in the retreat description on the website.

To register for a retreat, go to the calendar and click on the retreat you are interested in. It will take you to the registration page. If you have trouble registering online you may email us or give us a call to assist you. We accept Visa or MasterCard only; no AMEX or Discover cards. We do accept personal checks drawn on a US bank only. Make checks payable to: SRMC. Our mailing address is: PO Box 169, Woodacre, CA 94973.

Once your registration has been processed, you will receive a retreat confirmation by email with information specific to your retreat. Be sure to register with an email account that you check regularly. All communications will use this email. Please read all the information carefully.

IMPORTANT: Your space is not confirmed until we have received your payment and we have confirmed your attendance. If you don't receive your retreat confirmation email within 10 business days, please call (415) 488-0164 x232 or x255 or email us at: registration@spiritrock.org.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

Cancellation fees are listed in the online registration process and in the retreat confirmation letter for each retreat. Please note that cancellation fees increase the closer it gets to the starting date for the retreat. There are no refunds if you cancel within 2 weeks of the start of the retreat, except for extreme emergencies. Deposits and payments cannot be transferred to another retreat or another person. Sliding Scale Pricing for Residential Retreats

The fees to attend Spirit Rock retreats are priced on a sliding scale. Please pay at the highest level of the sliding scale that you can afford. This allows others who need to pay less the opportunity to attend. Anyone who pays above the baseline price will be making a tax-deductible contribution to Spirit Rock. We depend upon donations to subsidize about 45% of overall operating costs. Retreat prices vary with program length.

"Lottery-style" or "Pre-Registration" Retreats

For retreats where we expect demand to exceed available space, a "pre-registration" application is used to select retreatants. The pre-registration period will open 5 months before the start of the retreat, and close three weeks after that. We will notify you by email within two weeks after the close date about your status. (Commuter spaces are opened once residential spaces are filled.)
