Non-Residential Programs — Doors to the Dharma

Drop-Ins, Classes, Day Retreats, Multiday Retreats, Extended Multiday Retreats, Benefits, Evenings and Special Events

Our non-residential programs — drop-ins, classes, day retreats, multiday retreats, extended multiday retreats, benefits, evenings and special events — are designed to open doors to the Dharma and provide opportunities for cultivating a steady meditation practice. Think of them as stepping stones to sitting a residential retreat and as ongoing support for developing a sustainable practice. Unless otherwise noted, all-day retreats are suitable for beginners and experienced meditators and include basic instructions.

Visit the Non-Residential program calendar here >

Multiday, non-residential retreats are held in the Community Meditation Center at Spirit Rock where meditators spend their days practicing in silence and then carry this silence into their evenings. Participants spend their nights at home or in local accommodations that they arrange on their own (and at their own expense).

Drop-in Programs are a great introduction to Spirit Rock teachings and a source of ongoing inspiration. All programs are suitable for new as well as experienced practitioners. Pre-registration is not available.

Check out our FAQ page for information on what to bring, how to register, directions, and answers to the most common questions we receive.
