Giselle Jones

Giselle Jones, LCSW is a psychotherapist for general issues as well as in sex therapy and sex/love addiction. Following a career as a performer and in youth education, Giselle achieved her Masters of Social Welfare at UCLA Luskin School of Public Affairs. She has served in Los Angeles as a staff therapist for children and adolescents at Didi Hirsch Mental Health Services, for adults at The Center For Healthy Sex and now in private practice in both California and Ontario (Canada).

With a passion for creativity and social justice, Giselle formerly served as the first Director of Education for the non-profit youth poetry organization, Get Lit-Words Ignite. Beyond youth education and clinical social work, Giselle has used her creativity to collaborate with psychologists and police sergeants to train NYPD recruits to sensitively manage people struggling with mental illness. She also engaged in role-play to enhance medical students’ diverse patient care skills.

A 200-hour level certified Hatha Yoga Instructor, Giselle is incredibly passionate about integrating body-mind wellness, and received her Certification in Mindfulness Facilitation in 2015 from UCLA's Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Studies through the MARC Institute. She enjoys implementing mindfulness practices in her therapeutic work, has conducted several workshops on related topics, including the integration of mindfulness and intimacy for diverse populations, including mental health clinicians, students, educators, nurses, and the general public.
