Cancellation Policy for Non-Residential Programs

Spirit Rock does not offer refunds for non-residential programs; except for multi-day non-residential retreats (see Cancellation Policy for Multiday Non-Residential Retreats below). If you need to cancel your registration for any other type of non-residential program, you may request credit toward a future non-residential event, or you may offer your fee as a donation to Spirit Rock. Credits cannot be applied to residential retreats. Refunds or credits are not available for monthly year-long programs once the program has started; Livestreams or online courses because you receive instant access to these courses once you register.

Receiving a Credit

If you need to cancel and would like a credit for a future event, you must cancel by 4:00 p.m. at least two (2) business days prior to the event (by Thursday at 4:00 p.m. for any weekend events). If you cancel after this deadline, you will not receive a credit; credits are not automatically issued. If you are unable to reach the Events Registrar, you may leave a voicemail at (415) 488-0164 ext. 211 or 252; or email Registration@spiritrock.org notifying us of the cancellation. Your message will be date/time-stamped letting us know when your call or message was received.

Using a Credit

To use credit toward a future event, email or call our Registrars prior to the event. Credits cannot be accessed at the door or online, so please do not register online for an event for which you would like to use a credit. Please have the event code, name, and date available so the Registrar can accurately register you. Credits will expire one year from the original date of issue and can be transferred to a future event only once.

Cancellation Policy for Non-Residential Multiday Retreats

The rates below are for Multiday Non-Residential Retreats and our NEW! Extended Multiday Non-Residential Retreats. Cancellations for single-day programs can be found here. Cancellation fees are calculated as follows:

> 4 weeks $50 Flat Rate

1-4 weeks $75 Flat Rate

< 1 week No refund*

*Supporting our teachers is a high priority for Spirit Rock and the program fees directly help to support them so they may continue to share the dharma with all people. Last-minute cancellations make it hard for us to fill and thus less funding for the teachings. Please know that the fees ultimately do support them and all that we do here at Spirit Rock.

Cancellation Policy for Shuttle Services (when a service is available)

There are no refunds for shuttle services due to the fixed cost of providing the service.
