Sara Oakes

Sara Oakes, SEP, resides on the unceded lands of the Pomo and Coast Miwok peoples, and is of early settler European and recent Irish and Dutch ancestry. She began her spiritual practice in the path of Yoga and devotion in 2000 along with training in dance and the healing arts. She has practiced in the Insight Meditation tradition since 2004 and is a graduate of both the Dedicated Practitioners and the Community Dharma Leader Programs at Spirit Rock Meditation Center. She has a private practice in Somatic Experiencing trauma resolution and Craniosacral Work for people of all ages and stages. She trained as a naturalist with UC Stewards of the Coast and Redwoods, and is a practitioner in training for Ancestral Lineage Healing.
